A DREAMER: My Story
I am a painter and printmaker whose images showcase my design skills. Encouraged and inspired by supporting admirers to explore textiles, I decided to pursue a new path, creating captivating, serene, and sometimes provocative designs for textiles, tapestries and wallpaper.
However, with this new pursuit , I am not conforming to the norm, but rather, my focus is on creating original and distinctive design.
EXPERIENCE
Throughout my career as a painter and printmaker, I have incorporated patterns and designs intuitively into my images, To further challenge myself I am now expanding my creative horizons by. developing patterns for a variety of media,, such as fabric, tile wallpaper and more. This experience is exciting a I bring forth my creativity to a new level by transforming my motifs utilitarian and decorative items,
Over the years, I have created.intricate design work commissioned by. institutions and individuals, such as, hand-painted ceramic tiles and paintings, My craftsmanship has blossomed over the years, which is why my skills are well suited for surface design. Design abilities can cross pollinate to a variety of surfaces.
The City of Philadelphian commissioned me to hand-painted ceramic tile panels and painting for the Criminal Justice Center.
I had my artwork has been exhibited in the United States Canada, South America, Eastern Europe and Taiwan.
